“The CHCIO designation is significant, because it's the first and only industry credential for CIOs that focuses on healthcare IT leadership. Becoming a CHCIO enhances your occupational credibility, validates your expertise, and illustrates your dedication to the healthcare CIO profession and your commitment to staying up to date in your own professional development.” - Donna Roach CHCIO, VP IT/CIO Bronson Healthcare Group

“Healthcare CIOs had been one of the few senior leadership roles without a measure of their role specific competencies. As an individual, certification is a way of obtaining recognition for skills and knowledge that are critical to a successful CIO. Healthcare CIO certification is an important step in the evolution of our industry so others can recognize the development of individuals in a unique role.” - George McCulloch CHCIO, CIO Vanderbilt University Medical Center

“Beyond Certification: A CHIME CHCIO Program Overview”

Listen to CHIME members who helped develop the CHCIO Program and formulate the examination questions to discuss the CHCIO Program requirements, the benefits of becoming a CHCIO, content areas of the examination, and what differentiates the CHCIO designation from other industry credentials.
