Membership for Corporate Senior IT/IS Executives (non-CIOs)

Primary  |  Membership for CIOs, CMIOs & CNIOs  |  Online Only Membership

Membership for Corporate Senior IT/IS Executives (non-CIOs)  |  Affiliate Program Criteria

This set of criteria will be applicable to College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) applicants who do not meet the current primary membership criteria as it relates to their management responsibilities, but who otherwise appear to be high-level IT/IM executives.

For these IT/IM executives, CHIME will give further consideration to their application for membership using a point-based criteria. This point system will weigh the level of authority the candidate possesses within their organization and, if assessed to be a sufficiently high level the candidate will be considered for membership in CHIME.

In addition to meeting the criteria below, the candidate must have the organization’s CIO write a letter of recommendation that attests to the candidate’s qualifications for membership in CHIME. The CIO is required to be a current member of CHIME.

CHIME isn't only about furthering your professional development, membership is actually enjoyable. I share many of the same interests and challenges both professional and personal as my peers. The diversity and quality of the people I have met over the years has been an added reward. Work hard and play hard is what you can expect from being a member of CHIME.

Cooperation and collaboration between CHIME members and CHIME Foundation firms is more important now than it ever has been before. As the healthcare landscape rapidly evolves, this unique partnership provides CHIME members with the opportunity to influence the very future of healthcare IT.

I have found the IT Warehouse and the CIO Connection newsletter to be valuable information sources tailored to the unique challenges facing CIOs in healthcare. Those combined with the College Live sessions and the semi-annual CIO Forums provide me with a powerful combination of information and professional networking which more than justify the cost of membership.

Vice President, CIO
