CHIME Members Awarded Fellow Status
Orlando, FL, February 27, 2008 – Three CHIME members were awarded Fellow status at the CHIME/HIMSS CIO Forum on February 24, 2008 in Orlando, FL.
CHIME's Board of Trustees established the Fellow program to honor and recognize CHIME members who have actively participated in the organization and who have made significant contributions to the healthcare IT field as a CIO. The members who received the Fellow designation are:
William A. Spooner, Senior Vice President & CIO, Sharp HealthCare
Helen V. Thompson, CIO, Heartland Health
Lynn H. Vogel Ph.D, VP & CIO, University of TX M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
