Prior to joining Methodist in 1993, she worked for Medicus/HBOC and Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston.
McNutt is an active member of CHIME and just recently completed her term on the CHIME Board of Trustees. She is a member of the CHIME Advocacy Leadership Team and Policy Steering Committee. She also participated as a faculty member for the CHIME Healthcare CIO Boot Camp 2003-2006.
“Pam has given so much to CHIME, particularly her recent involvement in advocacy,” said CHIME President and CEO Rich Correll. “She has been an integral part of leading CHIME through new HIT legislation, regulations and polices, and I’m pleased that we are able to honor her immense contribution to the organization in this way.”
CHIME’s Board of Trustees established the Fellow program to honor and recognize members who have actively participated in the organization and who have made significant contributions to the healthcare IT field as a CIO. The Fellowship also exemplifies the member’s long standing contributions to the success of the CHIME organization.
McNutt is also a Fellow of the Healthcare Information Systems Executives Association (HIMSS) and is a former director for the HIMSS national board. McNutt currently serves as a member of the State of Texas' Medicaid Health Information Exchange Advisory Committee.
