CHIME Announces New Foundation Board Member
Ann Arbor, MI, December 2, 2009 - The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is pleased to announce the election of Linda Hodges to its Foundation Board of Directors.
Hodges is Vice President and Leader of Witt/Kieffer’s Information Technology Search Practice in Oak Brook, Illinois. She is a leading expert in health industry IT trends, regulatory and compliance issues and best practices in IT executive recruitment. With more than 20 years of experience, Hodges focuses on identifying leaders on behalf of hospitals and integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, managed care companies, physician organizations, healthcare associations, vendors, consulting firms and universities.
"I am extremely honored to serve as a member of the CHIME Foundation Board,” she said. “I believe in the critical role that CHIME plays in helping CIOs stay current, educated and informed for success and given my knowledge of the challenges, goals and priorities facing today’s CIOs, #2’s, CMIOs and CNIOs, I trust that I can add significantly to CHIME’s agenda, mission programs and recruitment of new membership.”
Hodges has been a CHIME Foundation member since 2001, first with Hersher Associates, then Witt/Kieffer. She has participated in over a dozen CIO Forums, conducting surveys and focus groups, speaking, and actively encouraging CIOs and other eligible IT professionals to join the CHIME organization. She is also a frequent writer and contributor, and co-authored the book, Career Success in Healthcare Information Technology, published by HIMSS in 2004.
Hodges will begin her 3-year term on the CHIME Foundation Board beginning January 1, 2010.
