CHIME Chair Election Results

Joanne Sunquist, CIO at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, was recently elected by CHIME's Board of Trustees to serve as Chair in 2009.

Joanne has been a CHIME member since 2002 and has served on the Board of Trustees for the past year. “I truly believe the CHIME Board and members have a unique opportunity in history to influence the expansion of technology to support patient care,” stated Joanne. “I will focus on continuing to enhance the value of CHIME to its members—through program expansion, strengthening our healthcare advocacy position and growing our membership.”

Joanne will succeed CHIME's 2008 Chair Rod Dykehouse, CIO at UCLA Medical Sciences in Los Angeles, CA.
