CHIME Foundation Board Election Results
Elaine Remmlinger, Vice President/National Service Director of Kurt Salmon Associates Health Care Consulting Group, has been elected to the CHIME Foundation Board of Directors, with a corresponding position on the CHIME Board of Trustees. She will serve a three-year term on both Boards.
As a 30+ year veteran of the healthcare information technology industry, Remmlinger has a broad base of expertise to draw from as she represents the industry on the CHIME Foundation Board. She currently leads Kurt Salmon Associates’ (KSA) healthcare IT practice nationally and serves on the KSA Board of Directors
“I work closely with CIOs from every type of healthcare organization and the full range of vendors across the country. KSA has no vendor or product affiliations, allowing us to remain objective in our work,” says Remmlinger.
Elaine also speaks and writes for national and regional podiums and publications and consistently contributes to the body of knowledge for the healthcare IT industry. She’s been an active participant in CHIME for the past nine years, conducting several Track Sessions, Focus Groups, and College Lives and attending every Fall and Spring Forum since KSA became a Foundation member.
“I look forward to being an active participant in shaping the important work of CHIME during my term as a Foundation Board member. In this role, I will focus on the professional development needs of the next generation of CIOs, as well as work to represent the diverse interests of the Foundation firms. CHIME will serve a major role in the professional development of the next generation of CIOs, as well as other informatics leaders including CMIOs and CNIOs. As CIOs are increasingly called upon to be thought leaders and industry advocates, leveraging the partnership between CIOs and Foundation firms will be key to the success of the industry.”
