CHIME and CHIEF Join in New Partnership

ANN ARBOR, MI & TORONTO, ON – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and CHIEF: Canada’s Health Informatics Executive Forum have entered into a partnership entitling eligible Canadian healthcare CIOs to dual membership in both associations.

The agreement that began in March 2009 stipulates that all CHIEF members are granted online membership to CHIME. CHIME is the premier association dedicated to serving the professional development needs of healthcare CIOs and advocating the more effective use of information management in healthcare. CHIEF is an extension of COACH: Canada’s Health Informatics Association, an association dedicated to advancing health informatics through education, information, networking and communication.

“I am very excited in launching our new and unique Partnership with CHIME,” said COACH CEO Don Newsham. “This international collaboration between two like-minded and complementary Health Informatics Executive organizations serves not only to bring the ultimate in value to our respective Executive members, but also to further the contribution of our entire industry to better healthcare.
