Stuart Hagen, Ph.D, Senior Analyst Congressional Budget Office, and author of a highly debated CBO paper on health IT, will discuss the costs and benefits of health information technology as well as barriers to broader distribution and use of IT in hospitals and clinicians’ offices. He’ll also speak about possible options for the federal government to promote use of health IT.
