LEAD Forums

The Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) Forum Series is an intensive 1-day program offering in-depth education on hot topics specifically relevant to healthcare CIOs. Offered regionally throughout the year, content may vary slightly from program to program to reflect current events and regional issues.

The final installment in the 2008 LEAD Forum series will be held as a Pre-Forum workshop in conjunction with the CHIME08.

CHIME08 * Fall CIO Forum

The Premier educational and networking event for Healthcare CIOs. The 2008 event will be held at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson, Nevada, October 22-25, 2008. View program updates.

The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp

The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp is built around a research-based model of CIO success pioneered by CHIME, called the CIO Success Factors. The CIO Success Factor model is founded on seven critical and developable skills that study showed are inherent in successful healthcare CIOs.

Combining presentations, small group discussions, case-study, mentoring, and interactive problem solving, the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp’s learning methodology is practical, personal, and uniquely tailored to the needs of the participants. College Live is a compelling alternative to traditional, classroom-style education and provides a unique forum for CHIME members to collaborate, interact, and learn!

Speaking Opportunities

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executive's CIO Forums (both spring and fall) are the primary networking and education events for technology leaders in the healthcare industry. At the CIO forums, members of CHIME, CHIME Foundation, and invited guests converge to share knowledge, ask questions, and learn more from industry experts and peers about current issues of particular importance to healthcare CIOs.
