The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp is designed specifically for healthcare IT professionals

CIO’s success. At the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp, you’ll learn to embrace these seven
success factors and focus development efforts on building the right skills you need
to reach your goals.

Instruction is provided by a faculty of healthcare CIOs who have demonstrated continued
success, leadership, and organizational excellence in their careers. The Healthcare CIO
Boot Camp is the only program of its kind taught exclusively by industry CIOs.
REINFORCE teachings with interactive exercises and personal coaching
This isn’t your everyday lecture series. The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp provides expert
instruction with a personal touch. To reinforce the teachings, you will be paired with
a faculty member who will serve as your mentor and personal coach throughout the program.
COLLABORATE with peers facing the same issues and challenges
The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp maximizes participant involvement through a collaborative
teaching methodology combining presentations, small group discussion, case study analysis,
progressive problem solving, and personal mentoring. Due to the highly interactive nature
of this program, enrollment is limited to 50 participants.
PREPARE for the CHIME Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) Program
There is significant overlap in the reference material utilized in both the Healthcare CIO
Boot Camp and the CHCIO Examination development. The CHCIO Examination is built upon the
prior research and development that went into the CIO Success Factors. While attendance at
the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp is not mandatory, it is the best way to prepare for the examination.
