Here are a few of the CHIME speaking opportunities that are available:
College Live
The College Live program offers online education, workshops and training sessions throughout the year. College Live sessions are broadcast via the Internet whereby participants can listen to the live audio on a phone line and/or using VOIP technology. Interactivity is achieved through a combination of text-based chats, surveys, polls and more. College Live sessions are also archived and available to CHIME members anytime, anywhere.
Proposals for College Live sessions are accepted throughout the year. Speakers can be located anywhere in the country. Favorable consideration will be given to individuals and/or teams that address current trends and issues that may impact healthcare IT executives.
College Live presentation opportunities are open to both CHIME members and CHIME Foundation members. Visit the College Live section (under Education and Events) on the CHIME website to learn more College Live as well as submitting a proposal.
Fall CIO Forum
The Fall CIO Forum is CHIME’s most prominent event, held annually in October. The Forum features three days of CIO-focused education and networking events, including keynote speakers, track sessions, vendor focus groups, and social and recreational networking activities and receptions.
The call for track session presentations is usually sent out 6 months prior to the October event. Track session presentation opportunities are open to both CHIME members and CHIME Foundation members. Proposals should be submitted online by the preceding April. Visit the Education and Events section of the CHIME website to learn more about our Fall Forum Track session opportunities.
LEAD Forums
The Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) Forum Series is an intensive 1-day program offering in-depth education on hot topics specifically relevant to healthcare CIOs. Offered regionally throughout the year, content may vary slightly from program to program to reflect current events and regional issues.
We have expanded our LEAD Forum series and will be looking for faculty for various 2008 LEAD programs. These positions will be open to both CHIME members and CHIME Foundation members.
