The ability to implement such allowed the CoM to receive provisional accreditation based on the completion of curriculum mapping strands to measure USMLE standard to CoM curricula, the implementation of tablet technology. The Sharepoint Learning Management Systems (LMS) involved negotiations that resulted in unlimited access for 2-years based on the unique non-traditional approach to teaching medicine. PC Blade technology: The average cost of a PC purchase was approx. $1200 – the blade technology solution proved to be cost effective over the span of 2 years resulting in desktop deployment at a cost of $600. This technology solution also allowed for centralized console administration.   Orlando Regional Healthcare Services September 2005 – October 2007 Director Client Services Orlando, Florida 32806 Goals and Objectives: Overhaul Orlando Hospital’s client services department. Call time to pick and on-hold wait times were unacceptable compared to industry standards. Average wait time was in excess of 40sec. I installed call monitoring software Symposium to monitor, track, and display calls on overhead LCDs for all service desk technicians to view. I also reduced staff turnover rate by raising the hourly minimum and improving the quality of the staffing model. Implemented Computer Associates Service Desk using ITIL process flows for monitoring and tracking incidents, problems, change control, and root cause analysis. I also deployed Blackberry devices for all field support engineers – improved ticket counts by 200%. Major Accomplishments: Collaborated with the hospital CIO to design a centralized, metric-based, chargeback model for IT support for seven hospitals for all IT support services, generating an additional $1.7 million dollars.
