CHIME offers several awards and scholarships to recognize and honor
the creativity, innovation, collaboration and dedication of our CIO members and their staffs.
Awards
CHIME has established several awards to honor and acknowledge our members and the outstanding work that they are doing at their organizations. These awards recognize outstanding leadership and collaboration efforts by CIOs as well as innovative and transformational applications of technology in healthcare.
Fellow program
CHIME's Board of Trustees established the Fellow program to honor and recognize CHIME members who have actively participated in the organization and who have made significant contributions to the healthcare I.T. field as a CIO.
Advancement to Fellow is an award and recognition for service and contribution to the organization, not just an acknowledgment of the length of membership in the CHIME. The CHIME Board of Trustees is pleased to offer advancement to Fellow for those members who have been long standing contributors to the success of the CHIME.
Scholarships
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) created the CHIME Education Foundation as a charitable organization to support the educational development of the next generation of healthcare IT leaders. The Education Foundation provides scholarships and tuition assistance to CHIME members and future CIOs for attendance at a variety of educational conferences, events, and professional development programs.
