The primary objective of the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp Women’s Scholarship is to enable more women to enter and move ahead in the healthcare IT profession and, in particular, to help them develop their skills so they can become successful healthcare Chief Information Officers (CIOs). These scholarships are available to female candidates who show significant potential to become a CIO, or for CIOs whose career will directly benefit from attending the Boot Camp program.
The scholarships will be awarded in the amount of the full tuition fee for attendance at the Boot Camp program. There will be two scholarships awarded annually; one scholarship will be awarded for attendance at the Spring Boot Camp program and one will be awarded for attendance at the Fall Boot Camp program.
Applications for the Fall Boot Camp Women’s Scholarship will be taken through July 1; the winner will be selected by July 15. Scholarships must be used for the program session (Spring or Fall) that the candidate applied for.
Please note that we hold a spot in the Boot Camp programs for our scholarship winners. If the Boot Camp you are applying for is currently full, you can still apply for the scholarship.
In addition to completing the scholarship application form, applicants must meet the following criteria and submit the materials described below:
