Fortune Ranks Health Catalyst One of the 30 Best Workplaces in the US Technology Industry
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – January 18, 2017 — Health Catalyst, a leader in healthcare data warehousing, analytics and outcomes improvement, has been named one of the 30 Best Workplaces in Technology by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work®. Health Catalyst ranked No. 9 on the annual list among companies with fewer than 1,000 employees, and is the only healthcare technology company to make the 2017 list.
Health Catalyst’s ranking is based on anonymous survey feedback from its employees and more than 42,000 employees at Great Place to Work–Certified™ organizations across the US technology industry. Survey questions focused on how frequently respondents experience the behaviors that create a great workplace, including the transparency of communication, degree of collaboration, quality of benefits programs, opportunity for professional development, and support for work-life balance.

According to Great Place at Work, 97 percent of Health Catalyst team members say their workplace is “great.” Other findings highlighted by the survey include:

• 98% believe management would lay people off only as a last resort
• 97% say they are encouraged to balance their work life and their personal life
